Atlanta lifestyle newborn photography
Last night was KJ's gymnastics show so I took the opportunity to make a few portraits of her in her costume. It was a bit of a drama after the show was cancelled the day before due to rain and then uncancelled and rescheduled at a different location. She and her classmates performed a dance/gymnastics routine in which they acted as dancing dolls. They were so good and I was a beaming mama. It was so nice to see what she's been up to every Tuesday for the past year!
Corinne contacted me all the way from Canada about a planning a Mauritius family photography session. They were bringing their adorable baby girl home to meet the family here and also squeezing in a few days at a resort. So of course we planned the session at the resort. While I was on my out the door to the session, the hotel management informed Corinne that they would not allow an outside photographer into the resort. Boo. Being that Mauritius has so many beautiful beaches and locations for family photo sessions, it wasn't a problem and we rescheduled for the next week. One of my favorite locations did not let us down. This sweet little family absolutely adore their baby girl and so do all of the of grandparents who came along for a few photos as well. What a special time to have three generations on both sides of the family come together from both sides of the world.
I love working with repeat clients. This wonderful family is going back home after spending a year here on our tiny island and wanted some memories to take home with them. And they wanted a family photo at a unique landmark in Black River. Can you spot it?

This family was such a joy to spend the morning with. Their sweet baby girl is SO adorable and so very much adored by her parents.
The early bird catches the worm - or light, in this case! It's a good thing we started at 6:30 as it poured with rain the rest of the day.
